Privacy Policy

RankZero ("RankZero", "we", "us") is a mobile app operated by OriKone LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built RankZero to be quiet and focused, and we take the same approach to your data: we collect the minimum needed to run the app, and we do not sell it.

Who this applies to

RankZero is intended for users 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Information we collect

• Account. RankZero uses Sign in with Apple as its only sign-in method. Apple provides us a unique identifier and, if you allow it, a name and a private relay email address. We never see your Apple password.
• Your activity. The habits, streaks, reflections, and progress you create. Most of this is stored on your device. If you use the social features, a limited profile (a handle you choose, your streak, level, and league standing) is stored on our servers so squads and leaderboards can work.
• Subscription status. If you buy RankZero Pro, Apple processes the payment. We and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) receive your subscription status and an anonymized identifier so we can unlock Pro features. We never receive your card or bank details.
• Diagnostic data. Basic, non-identifying information about crashes and app performance, used only to keep the app working.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your contacts, your photos beyond what you explicitly share, your precise location, or your Apple password. Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device, so we do not maintain a push profile of you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How we use information

• To run the daily loop, your streak, and your character progress.
• To power the social features you opt into (squads, leagues, the leaderboard).
• To unlock and manage RankZero Pro.
• To keep the app stable and secure, and to respond to your support requests.

Service providers

We share the limited data above with a small number of processors who act on our behalf and are bound to protect it:

• Apple — sign-in and payment processing.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Supabase — database and backend hosting for the social features.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Data retention

We keep your account and social data while your account is active. On-device data lives on your device until you delete the app or reset it in-app. When you delete your account, we remove your server-side profile and social data.

Your choices and rights

You can delete your account and associated server-side data from within the app, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA). Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport and access controls on our backend. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the surface small and the data minimal.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will revise the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
